The easiest way is our LED upgrade kit builder: https://spectrumangeleyes.com/pages/led-upgrade-kit. Enter your rego and state, pick the upgrades you want, and we will pack the correct globe types to suit your car.
If you order globes from a product page instead, select the "Not Sure" option and add your rego and state (or make, model and year) in the order notes. We check every order against the globe guide before we pack it.
Prefer to check first? Message us with your make, model, year and whether your low beam is halogen or HID, and we will send you the full globe type list for your car.
A quick guide to the common types:
- H4: single globe does both low and high beam (3 pins).
- H7, H1, H11, H9, HB3, HB4: separate low and high beam globes (2 pins).
- D1S, D2S, D3S, D4S, D2H: factory HID (xenon) headlights.
- T10 (W5W): parkers, number plate and interior lights.
- T20 (W21W, WY21W, W21/5W) and BA15s/BAU15s/BAY15d: indicators, brake, tail and reverse lights.
Not sure if you have halogen or HID? Halogen gives a yellowish white light. HID gives a bright white or slightly blue light and has a ballast box on the back of the headlight.
