Are your headlights and LED globes ADR approved or road legal?

We get asked this a lot, so here is the straight answer.

LED replacement globes: like every LED headlight globe on the market in Australia, ours are not ADR approved. ADR approval applies to the headlight as it left the factory, and fitting any aftermarket globe technically changes that.

Angel Eye headlights: like anything modified, they are technically no longer ADR approved. The housings we use are new aftermarket units made as direct copies of the factory headlight, and white forward facing lights are allowed, but the modification itself means we cannot claim ADR compliance.

Colours: the colour changing functions are for show purposes only and must not be used while driving. Switch to white, or turn the halos off, before you drive.

We do not have ADR, UNECE or E-mark documentation for our products and cannot provide paperwork for an engineer's certificate or VSCCS.

Whether a defect notice is issued is ultimately at the discretion of the police officer. If you are worried, the halos can be switched off (or their fuse pulled) in seconds.
