Work through these in order. They fix the large majority of problems.
- Check the red fuses on the controller's red and black wires. A blown 10 amp fuse is the number one cause of "nothing works".
- Check power. If you are on a fuse box position, is it live with the ignition on? Try the battery directly to rule out the fuse box.
- Colours will not come on: the headlights (or fog lights) need to be switched off for the colours to work.
- White will not come on, one side only: flip the headlight plug on the globe 180 degrees.
- Plugs: make sure the arrows on the black round plugs face each other and the locking nuts are tight.
- Remote not responding: re-sync it. Power the controller off, power it back on and straight away hold the ON button until the lights flash. Full steps in the "Private Pairing RF Remote" article.
- Controller seems dead (no remote, no app): disconnect power for 5 minutes, replace the red fuses, try again.
- Lights turning on by themselves or flat battery: this is RF interference from another remote nearby. Follow the Private Pairing article to lock your remote to your controller.
- Flickering: usually a loose plug or an earth that is not solid. Re-seat every plug and try the black wire on a different earth bolt or the battery.
- Dash bulb warning or hyperflash: message us with your car details, a plug in canbus decoder usually fixes it.
Still stuck? Message us with your order number, your car, and a short video of what the lights are doing. We will get you sorted.
